Stephanie Camello Suggests Friday Fish Dishes for Lent (#1 on 2/19/21 - Pasta con le Sarde)

Now that it is officially the season of Lent, it's time to dust off some of those old fish recipes and cook some delicious fish dishes on Fridays! Let's go!

Stephanie Camello suggests looking at the YouTube channel called Orsara Recipes.  The host is an adorably hilarious Italian gentleman who shows you step by step how to cook some authentic and genuine Italian dishes. The one being featured today is Pasta con le Sarde (Pasta with Sardines).

Rundown: it's spaghetti with a sardine fish sauce that contains bits of sardines, sautéed onions, a little Chardonnay, pine nuts, tomato paste and a few strands of saffron. It's a fish sauce that is not at all fishy and tastes light but is filling!

Tasty and authentic! Enjoy your first Lenten Friday Fish Dish!

Turns out it was what we think of today as the state of California! Colorado - Named after the C...
