Stephanie Camello Ranks The Top 10 Best Hitchcock Films

Let's face it - all Hitchcock films are great! But if you only have time to watch 10 of his movies, make sure to watch Stephanie Camello's list of top 10 best Alfred Hitchcock films! Tell me your favorites!

1) Psycho (1960) - a lady steals money and then hides in a hotel where she meets her untimely demise at the hand of a serial killer with major mommy problems.

2) Vertigo (1958)  - "An ex-police officer who suffers from an intense fear of heights is hired to prevent an old friend's wife from committing suicide, but all is not as it seems. Hitchcock's haunting, compelling masterpiece is uniquely revelatory about the director's own predilections and hang-ups and is widely considered to be one of his masterworks" (source: Google description).

I, Confess (1953) - a priest is suspected of committing a crime, but he does know who did it. The only problem is he can't tell the police because the crime was revealed to him during a confession!

4) The Birds (1963) - a lady brings a bird as a present to an island to visit a love interest, but soon the birds on the island get jealous and completely freak out.

5) Rear Window (1954) - voyeuristic masterpiece detailing a man who witnessed a supposed murder while laid-up with a broken leg in his apartment. 

6) The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) - a couple on vacation in Morocco finds out their son is kidnapped which leads them on a wild goose chase to find him and his captors.

Lifeboat (1944) - during WW2, 12 survivors of a sinking ship of varying backgrounds and experiences all end up on one lifeboat and start questioning each other, leading to panicked survival.

8) North by Northwest (1959) - "a tale of mistaken identity, with an innocent man pursued across the United States by agents of a mysterious organization trying to prevent him from blocking their plan to smuggle out microfilm which contains government secrets" (source:wikipedia).

9) Rope (1948) - two elitist college friends try to plan the "perfect murder" simply as an intellectual exercise.

10) The Trouble With Harry (1955) - "When a local man's corpse appears on a nearby hillside, no one is quite sure what happened to him. Many of the town's residents secretly wonder if they are responsible. As the sheriff and more people get involved, the mystery begins to unravel" (source:wikipedia).
