It looks like Americans will most likely be able to take vacations this summer, but many may not want to hop on a plane to another country just yet. That's why Stephanie Camello is providing you with a list of her top 10 best lesser-known destinations to visit in the United States!

1) Solvang, California - Danish style town in the middle of California! Things to do: eat Danish food, shop and experience Danish culture, take a tour of the town, visit Santa Inez Mission and Nojuqui Falls!

2) Helen, Georgia - Bavarian style town with Alpine flare. Things to do: tubing, hiking to waterfalls, wine-tasting, vineyard tours, visit Native American History museums, zip-lining, visit the old Gold Mining Company, camping, hot air balloon race and festival, and it's all next to the Blue Ridge Mountains!

3) Tombstone, Arizona - Wild West themed town. Things to do: O.K. Corral, Wild West gun shows, visit Allen Street, historical museums, Bird Cage Theater, historic Gleeson Jail tour, historic courthouse and state park, walking ghost tour, trolley tour of the town!

4) Salt Lake City, Utah - outdoorsy town in the summer with plenty of opportunities to learn about Mormon culture. Things to do: visit the Temple Square, visit various meeting halls and tour Mormon temples, see the Utah State Capital building, enjoy the Great Lake State Park, visit the historic Wheeler Farm, hike Blanche Trail, tour the Land Cruise Heritage Museum!

5) Estes Park, Colorado - just east of the Rocky Mountains, this is a hidden gem of history and tranquility not too far from the bustling Denver capital. Things to do: visit the spooky Stanley Hotel of The Shining fame, ride a horse at the National Park Stables, take a Jeep Tour of the town, camp, hike and safari-tour the Rocky Mountains National Park!

6) Springfield, Kentucky - if you love Lincoln or horses, this is the place for you. Things to do: visit the replicated boyhood home of Abraham Lincoln, enjoy the Lincoln Homestead State Park, take a riverboat cruise on the Belle of Louisville, visit Churchill downs!

7) Alcatraz Island, San Francisco, California - if you ever wanted to visit San Francisco, this is your chance! Things to do: take a ferry ride to Alcatraz Island, tour the no longer in use historic prison where Al Capone and "Machine Gun" Kelly did time, tour the Golden Gate Bridge, see the Bay, visit Sausalito and hike Muir Woods!

8) Alamo, Texas - the perfect combination of new and old. Things to do: visit the historic Alamo Mission, explore museums depicting the Battle of the Alamo and all the history surrounding how Texas got its liberty, visit nearby San Antonio to see the Riverwalk and the Tower of the Americas, stop by the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum and the Long Barracks Museum and don't forget to see the Guinness World Records Museum!

9) Key West, Florida - here it's all about getting outside and enjoying the weather and the sights. Things to do: visit Dry Tortugas National Park, Hemingway Museum, Duval Street, Truman Little White House, drive on the Overseas Highway, Fvisit ort Zachary Taylor State Park, and tour the U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Museum!

10) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - this is more of a popular destination, but it made the list just because there are so many cool and historic things to see and do here. Things to do: visit the Liberty Bell, tour Independence Hall, visit the Franklin Institute, walk through and tour Valley Forge and visit and pay your respects at historic Gettysburg just a short drive away.
