  1. Great photos, oh how I'd love to visit America some day.. The scenery, the little old mining towns long devoid of human habitation, the spectacular mountains and forests filled with all sorts of wildlife, some dangerous, some not so much.. Yellowstone Park (bucket list)... Such a wonderful place that I've dreamt of visiting since I was a child.. I'm 41 now, my two kids have grown, one's working the youngest is in Trinity college studying to be a midwife so they're busy.. Its the perfect time for the trip of a lifetime except for 1 thing.... Bloody covid hits and can't travel anywhere... Hopefully someday soon all this madness will be over and I'll get to fulfill my dream.. I just hope it's the same America we all grew up loving... In the meantime would you mind me following you to see more of your beautiful photos, Cheryl xx

We now pronounce it the French way with the silent “S.” California - The name of an island in a Spanish 16th Century novel for which the Spanish explorers named the land they thought was an island. Turns out it was what we think of today as the state of California! Colorado - Named after the C...

If you want to have a traditional Thanksgiving, check out these great places! 1) Plymouth, Massachusetts - Go to where it all started at Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts. Touch the stone marked 1620 and visit the area that has been a symbol of freedom and new opportunities for the last 400 years!! Visit the Plimoth Patuxet Museum and enjoy a traditional turkey, mashed potato, yam, apple and pumpkin pie dinner on the day that commemorates the pilgrims' landing! 2) Windsor, Connecticut - Some of the best places to enjoy a Thanksgiving holiday are in the original colonies and that includes beautiful Connecticut! You'll get the changing colors of the leaves, the tasty turkey and pumpkin pie and a dash of colonial history to boot! Plus, Windsor was the first ever pilgrim settlement in the colony of Connecticut! 3) Rhode Island - founded by Roger Williams in 1636 this former original colony and now smallest state in the union (by land mass) is filled with historical and opulent feat...
